The Grasshopper, Bournemouth Road, Parkstone. Used to do a really good carvery, but has been updated and decorated. Last visited May 2008. Served a pub menu and no carvery, but the meals were tasty and well presented and service was very good, in a pleasant almost Wine Bar atmosphere. The Bankes Arms Hotel, Studland. On NT land and next to a NT car park. Ideal for one of those days out and coming back to. A ‘Real Ale’ house this one with lots of choice + normal beers. Good views of Old Harry from the pub, and not too far a walk. Large pub garden. Holds Real Ale festivals. Very busy in summer. Varied meal menu, with quite a few dishes not seem elsewhere + the normal fare. Dog Friendly. Corkers. Quayside, Poole. Nice food feshly cooked. Booking recommended if you want to eat here. Overlooking Poole Quay front, opposite the ‘Music of the Sea’ sculpture thingy. Any updates or places you want to add, please email us.
